Kolkata Knight Riders batter Litton Das has reportedly left the Kolkata camp due to an urgent medical emergency in his family.  Citing this reason Das has returned back to Bangladesh.  The wicketkeeper-batter has had a short stint with the two-time champions as he arrived late to the KKR camp after completing the Test match between  Bangladesh and Ireland at home.

Das helped the Bangla Tigers win the match against the Irish by 7 wickets and then flew to India for the IPL. The 28-year-old has made one appearance for KKR against Delhi Capitals. He only managed to score just 4 runs as he opened the innings alongside Jason Roy. He was since left out of the playing XI for the next matches against Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

This development was confirmed by a Bangladeshi journalist Saif Ahmed, who posted the news on his Twitter account. The tweet said, "OFFICIAL: Litton Das is coming back to Bangladesh tonight. He won’t be available for the remainder of the IPL."
