South African batting legend AB de Villiers is currently in India to assist Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the IPL 2023 mini auction. Notably, mini auction is scheduled for December 16, but franchises have been given a deadline of November 16 to submit their retention list, and if reports are to be believed the original Mr. 360 is helping RCB in it.

De Villiers has been sharing his thoughts on the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia and has already revealed his wish to see India vs Pakistan final on November 13 (Sunday) at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The batting legend has made yet another revelation regarding IPL 2023.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, De Villiers revealed he along with West Indies batting great Chris Gayle will visit Chinnaswamy during the franchise's first game in IPL 2023. "It’s true. Not just me but Chris Gayle aka Universe Boss will be cheering for our boys at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru for their first match in IPL 2023," said De Villiers. Notably, both the former RCB players retired from all forms of cricket and missed IPL 2022.

The duo had admitted earlier that they missed being part of the RCB set-up and confirmed that they will join the RCB team ahead of the IPL 2023, in different capacities. However, their role with the franchise is yet not revealed but it is confirmed that both the players will be visible cheering for their former franchise in Indian Premier League.
