An important step was recently taken by Medal Esports, a well-known organisation in the Indian esports sector, when it signed a skilled Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) squad. Four talented players who have previously played together make up the team. The team includes Parichay "Paradox" Bansal, Rishabh "Encore" Katoch, Ankit "Topdawg" Mehra, and Jaideep "Kyoya" Mankar.
It's interesting to note that these four athletes previously competed as Revenant Esports in 2021–22. Together, Paradox and Encore have played in renowned teams like MegaStars, who finished third in the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile Pro League - South Asia Season 1 in 2020 and sixth (as Learn From Past) in the PUBG Mobile Club Open - Spring Split: India in 2019, among other notable accomplishments.
In addition, Topdawg and Kyoya will serve as the team's primary attackers, with Paradox serving as the team's in-game leader (IGL). As the assaulters, their main goals will be to engage opponents, get the kill, and open doors for the team to obtain an advantageous position. Encore will assume the position of the team's filter and support player in the interim, offering critical assistance in a variety of areas.
Medal Esports' short-term goal is to triumph in the first formal competition following BGMI's return, while its long-term objective is to represent the country and triumph on a global stage. Medal Esports has given the players access to a boot camp facility and a coach to help them achieve their goals.
