While Travis Head continued his form from the Adelaide Test as he scored his second consecutive ton, also third in the last six Test innings against India.
On the other hand, Steve Smith also ended his century drought as he scored his 33rd Test hundred. While Head’s century came 69th over of Australian innings, Smith reached the three-figure mark in the 82nd over, ending his longest century drought (26 innings) since his debut.
