Tyreek Hill, the wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, is under investigation for assault and battery, confirmed by the Miami-Dade Police on June 20, Tuesday. It has been reported that the 29-year-old NFL star got physical with a man, who was working at the Haulover Beach Marina in Miami on June 18, Sunday afternoon. Currently, it is unclear whether he will face any criminal charges or not.
After receiving the tip later on Sunday, at around 6 PM in the evening, the television station WPLG Local 10 News in Miami broke the news about Tyreek Hill. They revealed that the Miami Dolphins WR got himself involved in an argument with a charter company employee in Haulover Marina Center in Miami. It ended after the Georgia-born player put his hands on the man and hit him.
Andy Slater, the sports radio talk show host in Miami, reported that Tyreek Hill allegedly slapped the charter company employee on the back of his head. He also mentioned that the man has declined to press charges on the NFL star initially.
On June 20, Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Miami Dolphins sent out a statement about the alleged assault and battery to the Miami Herald. It read, “We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives, and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time.”
Meanwhile, on the same day, the agent of Tyreek Hill, named Drew Rosenhaus shared a video of the 29-year-old with a shark on Twitter, accompanied by a caption, “Went fishing with @cheetah today and decided to get up close to this Dusky Shark”.
Later on, the Miami Dolphins star sent out a video of himself catching a shark on Twitter, while being accompanied by his agent. His tweet read, “Got in a battle for 45 min just find out it was a shark!! Good times”.
