Mohammed Siraj is set to play for a new franchise in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League as Gujarat Titans bought him for INR 12.25 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Siraj was a part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru before he was released by the franchise ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction.
Mohammed Siraj has been one of the most improved bowlers in the last few years in IPL, playing for two different franchises including Sunrisers Hyderabad and RCB. Now, he is set to play for Gujarat Titans in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league.
Mohammed Siraj's IPL salary breakdown
Mohammed Siraj started his IPL career with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after the franchise bought him for INR 2.6 Crore ahead of IPL 2017. The fast bowler played just six matches in that season, taking 10 scalps, before he was sold to RCB ahead of IPL 2018 for the same price. Siraj has played 93 matches in his IPL career so far, taking 93 scalps at an average of 30.34.
Talking about his IPL salary Mohammed Siraj will play the role of the spearhead fast bowler for GT in IPL 2025, he is likely to bowl a full spell of four overs in every match. As there are six balls in an over, Bumrah is likely to bowl 24 balls per match. A franchise is scheduled to play 14 league matches in an IPL season. Because of this, Jasprit Bumrah is likely to bowl a total 336 balls during the league stage. With that, he will earn around ₹3.65 Crore salary for every ball bowled in IPL 2025. However, if GT qualify for the final, they will not play more than 17 matches in the entire season. According to this, Siraj will earn around INR 3 Lakh in IPL 2025
