MS Dhoni, the former Indian captain, the winner of ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, has been spotted vacationing for the past few days in the United States of America. After playing cricket professionally for Chennai Super Kings in May of this year, lifting the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy for the fifth time in his career in the process, the 41-year-old has been spending his time away from cricket overseas, signing an autograph, before getting a picture taken with a fan.
Notably, during his visit to the USA, MS Dhoni was first seen at the Flushing Meadows, where he witnessed the quarter-final clash of the US Open men’s singles, in which Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alexander Zverev in three straight sets by 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. He is an ardent fan of tennis as a sport, watching it live and in person, whenever the opportunity arises.
Then, in a surprising turn of events, the Ranchi-born cricketer met the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump at a golf course. According to the reports, the American politician and businessman had invited MS Dhoni to play a golf game with him.
In his recent video, which has gone viral on Twitter, the captain of Chennai Super Kings was seen signing small souvenir bats for a fan. He also posed alongside the fan, getting his picture clicked with him.

The future of MS Dhoni as a player for Chennai Super Kings for the 2024 season of the IPL isn’t set in stone currently. But, during his interview at the IPL trophy presentation earlier this year, he did drop subtle hints about potentially turning up for CSK next season, to enthral his fans with everything he does on the cricket field, one more time.
