India wrote history on Wednesday, as the ISRO successfully landed a spacecraft near the moon’s south pole, an unconquered territory till now. With this landing, India became the first country to land in the region of the moon. With this massive achievement, the nation erupted with joy and congratulated the scientists for this remarkable milestone.

The family of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni hailed the historic accomplishment at their Ranchi home. After ISRO confirmed the news of the successful landing, Dhoni's wife Sakshi posted a video on her Instagram account where their daughter Ziva was applauding and cheering.


When Ziva heard the news, she was clapping and cheering. The eight-year-old could also seen shouting ‘Bravo!’ as she claps her hands excitedly. India has cemented its place in history by becoming the first country in the world to land a rover on the South Pole of the Moon. India followed the United States, Russia, and China as the fourth country to set foot on the moon.

After the moon mission in 2019 was unsuccessful, the scientists made a striking comeback this time and completed the soft landing. After the soft landing was achieved at around 6 p.m., the rover will come out of the spacecraft shortly.
