India’s ‘Golden Boy’ and two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra’s t-shirt from the Paris 2024 was inducted in the World Athletics Heritage collection. The star Indian javelin thrower, who won a silver at men’s javelin throw at Paris Olympic Games in August 2024, saw him being the only Indian in the 23 athletes list whose artefacts were inducted in the prestigious collection in Monaco.
Notably, Neeraj Chopra finished second, failing to defend his Olympic gold from the Tokyo Games. He fell just behind Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, who set an Olympic record with his monstrous 92.97m throw at the Stade de France in the French capital in August this year.
