Brazilian star footballer Neymar Jr has sparked transfer rumours to Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami once again after he was spotted with the former English legend and Miami owner David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham. The star player had previously wished to reunite with Argentina’s Lionel Messi in the American league.
Many players from the European league in the past have previously made it to the US, including star Argentine footballer and former PSG forward Lionel Messi, Uruguay’s star Luis Suarez, and Spain’s iconic duo of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Neymar, who is currently nursing a knee injury, has been associated with the Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal since last year but has only appeared in three games owing to the continuous injury scares. Brazil’s highest goal scorer has played 100+ matches for three clubs Santos, Barcelona, and PSG.
Neymar earlier this month, when asked about potentially playing with Lionel Messi again had said, "Hopefully we can play together again. ... I'd love to play in the U.S., actually. I'd love to play there at least for a season." In 2020 too, Inter Miami’s owner David Beckham had joked about bringing the then PSG forward into the club in the coming decade.
Neymar joins Brazilian singer Anitta's pre-birthday celebration
The Brazil forward, who is currently out of action due to a knee injury was pictured partying with his long-time friend and singer Anitta in her pre-birthday celebrations in his home-town. Brazilian singer Anitta announced that she will be doing a “whole one week of celebration” for her birthday which she celebrates on March 30.
The two had been seen together in the past on many occasions and were linked to be a couple many times. However, the duo have claimed that they are just friends from childhood.
