Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy came up with a fiery fifty in his second international match. On Wednesday, October 9, India hosted Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. During the match, Reddy recorded his maiden fifty and announced his arrival in international cricketing scenario. After recording a win in the first game of the series, Suryakumar Yadav and Co. entered the field with an aim of dominating the rivals and winning the series 2-0. Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossasin Shanto won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first.
India, who seemed confident had a shaky start as both openers, Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma returned to pavilion after short stays of 10 and 15 runs, respectively. Not only this, but even skipper Sanju Samson couldn’t do any magic and returned after scoring just eight runs off 10 balls. Things seemed a bit tricky for the hosts when youngsters Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy held their nerves and got the side to a stable side. Reddy, who debuted in the first match of the Bangladesh series came up with his fifty. The youngster took just 27 balls and raised his bat in celebration.
