India cricketer Nitish Rana is all set to join Uttar Pradesh after he announced his move from Delhi. The KKR skipper, recently took to Twitter to confirm his move to Uttar Pradesh, which comes ahead of 2023-24 domestic season. The former Delhi captain had earlier appealed for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Delhi and District Association (DDCA).

The 29-year-old cricketer, who had a poor season in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23, in post captioned “Onto the next chapter” stated, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunities, guidance, and support which DDCA has provided me over the years. As I move on to new horizons, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey I had while captaining Delhi Cricket and express my sincere appreciation.”
In his tweet further added, “I’m happy to announce that I’ll be joining UPCA from the upcoming domestic season. I’m excited to play for UPCA, and I look forward to working with everyone to reach new heights.”
It is to be further added that Nitish Rana will now join his KKR teammate Rinku Singh in UP. The 29-year-old has also been named in the squad of Noida Super Kings for the inaugural edition of the UPT20 League, scheduled to commence on August 30.
