Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that he loves the sport, and he has been ready to fight Twitter (Now X) CEO Elon Musk. This came in response to the claim made by Musk earlier that both the tycoons are working out on plans of organising the fight in Rome. Not only this, but Musk also claimed that the fight will be livestreamed on both his and Zuckerberg’s platforms.
Responding to the same, Zuckerberg, on his newly launched platform, ‘Threads’, said that he is ready to fight Musk the day he was challenged. However, since the SpaceX CEO and CTO hasn’t confirmed on a date yet, everything remains uncertain. Mark also said that he will announce things once confirmed, until then everything that Musk says remains uncertain.
The Meta Founder wrote, "I love this sport and I've been ready to fight since the day Elon challenged me. If he ever agrees on an actual date, you'll hear it from me. Until then, please assume anything he says has not been agreed on."
He also noted, “Not holding my breath for Elon, but I’ll share details on my next fight when I’m ready. When I compete, I want to do it in a way that puts a spotlight on the elite athletes at the top of the game. You do that by working with professional orgs like the UFC or ONE to pull this off well and create a great card.”
Notably, earlier this year, Musk challenged Zuckerberg for a cage fight, and Mark accepted it.
