The Western Indian Railways announced special trains between Ahmedabad and Mumbai ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash at the ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, the highly anticipated clash between the neighbouring nations will take place on October 14, Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad

During the forthcoming clash, a total of 132,000 fans are expected to be present at the stadium. To accommodate seamless travel for those travelling from Mumbai, the Indian Railways have come up with the decision. For this, additional train services will run from Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad to make sure that cricket fans attend the match easily. 

The Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad special train will depart from Mumbai on October 13, Friday at 9:30 pm and will reach its destination at 5.30 am on the Match Day, October 14, Saturday.  On its way back to Mumbai, the train will leave Ahmedabad at 4.09 a.m. on October 15 to reach Mumbai Central at 12.10 p.m. the same day. 

Not only this, but the Railways stated special charges for these trains which will comprise AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper class and general second-class coaches. Not only this, but the train will have several halts including Dadar, Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Vadodara. 

Notably, both Pakistan and India have recorded two consecutive wins in the ongoing marquee ICC tournament.
