The Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in their third fixture of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023. The two sides, who met twice at the 50-over Asian Cup 2023 last month, will once again lock horns on Saturday, October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmadabad.

But ahead of this high-octane clash, Indian middle order batter, Suryakumar Yadav took to Instagram, urging fans to watch the match on television. In the post now going viral, Suryakumar Yadav wrote, “Bhailog ghar pe acche acche TV hain sabke, enjoy karo aur AC mein baith ke match dekho. No more ticket requests pls.”
This request from the explosive batter comes after fans requesting tickets for the all-important match. The 33-year-old player, who happens to be a part of the 15-member squad for ICC Cricket World Cup in Indian, is not the first choice pick in the XI. In the two games that Team India has played, Yadav hasn’t featured in any, but there is a high possibility that he might take the field against Pakistan.
It is to be noted that Virat Kohli earlier took to Instagram and posted a similar story which read, “As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets at all through the tournament.” He also urged them to watch from their homes.
