The ICC ODI Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is just months away and the Broad of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has begun the renovations and upgradation procedures at the stadiums which will host the marquee event. Amid this the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has already announced the ticket prices for the marquee tournament.

Notably, K olkata’s Eden Gardens will host five matches, first of which is set to take place on October 28.  As per the announcement made by the CAB on Monday, July 10, the ticket prices for India vs South Africa and the semifinal would begin at the base price of INR 900 for the upper tier. Elaborating more on it, the seats in D, H blocks will cost INR 1500, while the seats in blocks C and K will charge INR 2500. Additionally, the highest price for India vs South Africa match and the second semifinal will be at INR 3000 for blocks B and L.

What will be the prices of the other three matches at the Eden Gardens?

Except from the India vs South Africa and the second semifinal, Bangladesh and Pakistan will also be playing twice at this venue. The Bangladesh vs Netherlands (Qualifier 1) will be priced INR 650 (upper tiers), INR 1000 (D and H) and INR 1500 (B,C,K,L). Whereas Pakistan’s match against Bangladesh and England will be priced INR 800 (upper tier), INR 1200 (D,H), INR 2000 (C, K) and INR 2200 (B,L).

Talking about the ODI World Cup 2023, India will be hosting the ICC event for the first time after 2016. Also it will be the first time that the tournament is completely being held in the Indian subcontinent.
