Daniella Hemsley was banned from participating in the Kingpyn boxing final and was heavily criticised on social media. With incidents like growing in the celebrity/YouTube boxing scene, Eddie Hearn was critical of promotions like Misfits and Kingpyn and deemed these fights ‘ain't boxing’. He further added that these events should be kept far away from professional boxing.

Speaking to Boxing Social on the night, Hearn stated, "One thing we must understand is that ain't boxing. And that needs to be pushed, all that stuff, Misfits, Kingpyn, it needs to be booted so far away from professional boxing and we really need to disassociate ourselves with what it is."

Addressing these, Daniella Hemsley ripped into Eddie Hearn and stated that the British promoter doesn’t understand celebrity boxing’s appeal. While speaking to the Mirror, She said: "It was bound to happen. it's inevitable, isn't it? Eddie Hearn seems to hate YouTube boxing, he thinks it's a p*** take and at the end of the day it's not professional boxing and I think people need to remember that.”

Hemsley further addressed that YouTube boxing is a mix of boxing and entertainment, helping it create its own niche in the sporting world."Professional boxing should totally have its own segment and should be respected in its own way and I think YouTube boxing is entertainment as well as boxing. It's all different personalities and celebrities coming into the sport, putting on a massive show with all the entertainment and the build-up towards it,” she added.
