The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again garnered attention of cricket fans and experts with another unusual move. The board recently made it to the headlines by sending seven players and sacking the Test coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul, replacing them with Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffkey, respectively. The seven players who were sent back home include Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Ali Usman, Aamir Jamal, Muhammad Awais Zafar and Khurram Shahzad.
Not only this, but amidst all the chaos, latest reports suggest that former captain Misbah-ul-Haq has reportedly resigned from his role as a national selector. However, this is not it. The PCB has still managed to hit a new low as they invited applications of fielding coach for the senior team, covering both red-and white-ball cricket via LinkedIn. The post invited applications from experienced coaches who could work with the national side and help improve the fielding standards of its players.
