With the onset of 2024 Paris Olympics now less than 20 days away, the athletes from all round the world are on their way to take the centre stage in the French capital. The quadrennial Games, which will be held from July 26 till August 11, will see a total of 206 countries participate across 32 sports.
Swimming is one of the key sports which attracts participants from all over. While the event saw Great Britain secure record eight medals at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, they will aim to dominate and continue their success this summer. The racing in water will be held at the Paris La Defense Arena, which is a rugby stadium and home to French club Racing 92.

The swimming events will begin on July 27, which the first Saturday of the Games at the Paris La Defense Arena. The day is split into morning heats and preliminary rounds, starting at 10:00 BST, and a finals session from 19:30.
The 100m breaststroke heat will be held on the opening day with the final taking place the next day. The 4x100m medley relay is scheduled for August 4. Moreover, men's 4x200m freestyle relay title will happen on July 30, while men's 200m medley will take place on August 2.
The swimming programme concludes with the women's and men's open water races, on 8 and 9 August respectively.
