Pakistan registered a home T20I series win (2-1) over South Africa as they defeated the Proteas by 4 wickets in the third and final T20I on Sunday. While Mohammad Nawaz was adjudged the Player of the Match for his all round show- 2/13 and 18* (11), Mohammad Rizwan bagged the Player of the Series for scoring over 190 runs in the three match series. Prior to this, the Men in Green had also won the Test series 2-0.

Post their win on Sunday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their social media handle in which the team can be seen celebrating their win. Hasan Ali, who played a pivotal role in their triumph in the final T20I, can be seen in the video saying "Ye main hun, ye meri team hai aur hum series jeet gye hain aur party kar rahe hain (This is me, my team and we have we have won the series and are partying."
Ali's teammates can be seen cheering from behind in the 10-second video which has gone viral on the internet. While the visitors did manage to reach a competitive 164 in the series decider, courtesy a David Miller half-century, solid contributions from Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan helped them stay on course before Hasan finished it off. Tabraiz Shamsi was the pick of the bowlers for South Africa, picking up 4 wickets for 25 runs but couldn't stop the hosts from reaching their target with 8 balls to spare.
Prior to South Africa's tour of Pakistan, it was the Men in Green who had travelled to New Zealand facing defeats in both the limited overs as well as Test series. The win in the Test and T20Is against the Proteas has set them up nicely for their tour to South Africa later this year.
