Australia Test captain Pat Cummins tied the knot with his fiancée Becky Boston on Saturday, 30 July. The wedding took place in Byron Bay, a coastal town in New South Wales in southeast Australia. The couple walked down the aisle in Chateau Du Soleil, a French-inspired Luxury Holiday property with close friends and family. Pat and Becky have been together since 2013 and got engaged in June 2020.
Few important guests at the wedding included Cummins’ closest friend and renowned comedian Andy Lee, Andy’s girlfriend Rebecca Harding, Australian off-break bowler Nathan Lyon and his wife Emma McCarthy, who also got married recently. Travis Head was also a part ceremony, and was accompanied by his fiancée Jessica Davies.
A few other cricketers who were part of the wedding ceremony included, Tim Paine & wife Bonnie, Mitchell Starc, Andrew McDonald, and Josh Hazelwood.
Pat Cummins recently led his Aussie team on their tour to Sri Lanka. Australia won the T20I series but were outplayed by the Lankans in the ODI series. The home team came back after losing the first game and won three straight matches. The Aussies then retaliated back as they registered a dominant 10-wicket win in the first Test, but ended the series in a draw.
