Ahead of the IPL 2023 auction, Punjab Kings have tried well to retain their core players for the forthcoming edition. The management chose experienced Shikhar Dhawan as the captain, who would take the team forward in 2023. At present, they have 16 players and need to fill up nine slots, with three being overseas players.
