During the fourth and final day of the Duleep Trophy clash between India A and India B, Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav, who were playing for opposition teams, engaged in a hilarious banter at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In one of their funny exchanges, Rishabh Pant remarked that India B had a special plan to dismiss Kuldeep Yadav before wanting him to get out at the earliest when the left-handed batter told the wicket-keeper to calm down.
In the final session on day four of the Duleep Trophy clash, India A, who were chasing a 275-run target against India B, found themselves in a precarious position, needing to save the game with just three wickets in hand after their entire top order was back in the pavilion. Kuldeep Yadav, who boasted the ability to bat time, was at the crease alongside Akash Deep when he was embroiled in a funny exchange with Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper of India B.

Kha le maa kasam nahi lega: Rishabh Pant to Kuldeep Yadav about not taking a single
In a viral video on the social media platform X, Rishabh Pant said to his IPL and national team compatriot, “Sab upar rehna single ke liye saare (Everyone stay up to stop the single),” and then, Kuldeep Yadav responded, “Main nahi lunga (I won’t take the single),” to which the wicket-keeper replied, “Kha le maa kasam nahi lega (Just swear on your mother that you won’t),” making the left-handed batter laugh just prior to facing the ball.
Shortly after, in an another funny exchange, Rishabh Pant said to his India B teammate nearby, “Iske [Kuldeep Yadav] liye bahut tagda plan banaya hai (We have made a special plan to dismiss him),” to which Kuldeep Yadav replied, “Thik hai yaar kyu itna pareshan ho raha hai (It’s fine, why are you getting flustered this much?),” and it led to the wicket-keeper saying to him, “Phir out ho ja na jaldi (Well then, get out at the earliest).”
Just a few overs later, Kudleep Yadav was dismissed for 14 off 56, while trying to save the match for India A. It led to India B bundling them out for 198 runs, to win the Duleep Trophy 2024 clash by 76 runs.
