The Premier League 2023-24 season is underway, and one of the most anticipated matches of the campaign is the clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, who will face each other at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, August 19. After the first game, United are seventh in the Premier League table, while the Spurs are ninth.

Manchester United started their campaign with a controversial 1-0 win over Wolves, where a penalty that looked obvious was not awarded to the visiting side. Raphael Varane’s 76th-minute goal was enough for the Red Devils to get the three points. The Wolves manager claimed that he had received an apology from PGMOL chief Jonathan Moss, and all officials involved have curiously been dropped for this weekend's fixtures.
