The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be back with its 10th edition on April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United hosting Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi. The competition will be played among six teams across four cities from April 11 to May 18. During the 38 days of the tournament, 34 games will be played. The final will be hosted by the iconic Gaddafi Stadium. Lahore will be hosting 13 matches which will be the most by any venue while Islamabad United’s home ground Rawalpindi will also organise 11 games. Karachi and Multan will be hosting five matches respectively. 

Lahore will also organise three key games which include a couple of eliminators and the final, while the first qualifier will be played in Rawalpindi on May 13. Karachi Kings, who won the fifth edition of the league, will kick off their campaign at their home against Multan Sultans on April 12. Peshawar Zalmi, the 2016-17 title winners, will be squaring off against Quetta Gladiators in their opening contest on April 12 in Peshawar.  

Announcing PSL 2025 schedule, the CEO of the league Salman Naseer looked elated over PSL completing 10 years. "We are thrilled to officially announce the schedule for the historic 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League. Over the past decade, the HBL PSL has grown into a globally recognised tournament, showcasing the best of Pakistan's cricketing talent.”

Islamabad United, who lifted the coveted trophy for the third time after beating Multan Sultans in Karachi, will look to defend the title under their captain Shadab Khan. Following the previous year success, the United broke into the record books as the most successful side in the league with three titles. Shadab led the team from the front in 2024 as he won the player of the tournament (POTM) award for his all-round display. Islamabad skipper amassed 305 runs and 14 wickets in the competition.
