Punjab Kings haven't played their best cricket in all these years and they have made it to playoffs/semifinals only on two occasions in 2008 and 2014. Majority of the times they haven't retained a core set of players and that has backfired them much on many occasions.
Let us look at some of their numbers by the franchise and the player
132*: KL Rahul's unbeaten 132 is the highest score for a captain and an Indian player in IPL. He scored 98 runs from fours and sixes alone in that innings. It is 2nd joint-most for an Indian player after Rishabh Pant, who scored 102 runs from sixes and fours alone. Murali Vijay (98) was the only other to share the joint record with KL Rahul.
4: Number of hat-tricks recorded by Punjab Kings is 4. Yuvraj Singh (2), Axar Patel and Sam Curran have got a hat-trick for Punjab Kings in IPL. Four hat-tricks by an IPL franchise is joint-most with Rajasthan Royals. Also, Sam Curran is the youngest player ever in IPL to take a hat-trick.

122: Virender Sehwag's 122 still remains to be the highest score in IPL history for a knock-out game. He scored 122 (58) vs CSK in 2014 IPL qualifier-2.
2000: KL Rahul completed 2000 IPL runs from just 60 innings and by doing so he became the fastest Indian to reach 2000 runs in IPL - surpassing the record of Sachin Tendulkar who achieved that feat from 63 innings in IPL.
