Ace Indian shuttler and two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu on Sunday, December 22 tied a knot with her fiance and Hyderabad based techie Venkatta Datta Sai. The couple got married in intimate ceremony, which took place in Udaipur where the ace shuttler can be seen dressed in a traditional attire.

The ceremony where the two exchanged vows, took place in the presence of their families and closed members. Among them, Culture and Tourism Minister of Jodhpur, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present, who shared the first picture of the ceremony on his X account. “Pleased to have attended the wedding ceremony of our Badminton Champion Olympian PV Sindhu with Venkatta Datta Sai in Udaipur last evening and conveyed my wishes & blessings to the couple for their new life ahead. @Pvsindhu1” he captioned the post.
According to the details shared by Sindhu’s father earlier while confirming her wedding, the families will now hold a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. PV Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana had earlier told PTI, “The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January.” “So that is the reason the two families decided to have the marriage ceremony on December 22. The reception will be held in Hyderabad on december 24. She wil;l start her training soon after as the next season is going to be important,” he further added.
Who is Venkatta Datta Sai?
Speaking of Venkata Datta Sai, he is an Executive Director at Posidex Technologies. The Hyderabad techie has a diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. Datta Sai completed his BBA Accounting and Finance from Flame University Bachelor of Business Adminstration in 2018, followed by a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from International Institute of Information Technology in Bengaluru.
Furthermore, Venkata Datta Sai has also worked with an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise co-owners JSW as a summer intern as well as an In-House Consultant. From 2019, he has also worked as Managing Director for Sour Apple Asset Management while serving as the Executive Director at Posidex.
