Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medallist tied the knot with Hyderabad-based businessman in an intimate wedding ceremony on December 22, 2024, in the City of Lakes, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The ceremony saw the couple exchange vows amidst close family and friends in the serene city, known for its royal heritage and regal charm. In the wedding ceremony, Sai and Sindhu were seen adoring apparel from celebrated Indian designer Manish Malhotra.
In the pictures posted by Sindhu on social media, the badminton icon was looking radiant in a cream-coloured saree while Datta Sai matched her elegance in a cream sherwani. After getting married in Udaipur, the couple hosted a grand reception in Hyderabad on December 24, for their extended family and friends. For her ceremony, Sindhu was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Bornali Calideiraa. The couple also adorned the traditional basikalu, which is a gold amulet tied with a yellow thread on the forehead, which is a part of the Telugu wedding tradition.
