Team India head coach Rahul Dravid confirmed that the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be his last tournament with the Men in Blue. In a press conference, the former Indian captain asserted that he would not apply for the position after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed his departure after the World Cup.
Dravid became the Indian men's team coach in November 2021 after a successful stint with the U19 and the A team. He has been pivotal in Team India reaching one World Test Championship final, one T20 World Cup semi-final and the ODI World Cup final. Though the Men in Blue failed to go over the line, Rahul Dravid and his coaching staff built one of the most dominant teams in India's cricketing history.
