Indian filmmaker and TV personality Karan Johar on Thursday, November 9, announced the release date of the highly-anticipated Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer "Mr. And Mrs. Mahi". Earlier in May, Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao completed the shooting of the film.
Karan Johar's Dharma Production revealed the official poster of "Mr. And Mrs. Mahi", which indicated that the movie revolves around cricket and the tagline mentioned, "No Dream Is Ever Chased Alone". The movie will be released in theaters on April 19, 2024.
Versatile Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao and Dharma Movies collaborated on Instagram to reveal the release date for the movie. The 39-year-old actor captioned, "Two hearts chasing one dream & it’s just pitch-er perfect!🎬✨ The field is set for #MrAndMrsMahi, coming to cinemas on 19th April 2024."
On the other hand, Karan Johar shared the release date on social media with the same poster and wrote, "It’s all heart and more, that makes a magical story ‘pitch-er perfect’! #MrAndMrsMahi in cinemas on 19th April, 2024."
In May 2023, Rajkummar and Janhvi wrapped up the shooting for the movie as the Dharma Movies captioned, "AND IT’S A WRAP FOR MR. & MRS. MAHI!🏏 Ready for the final innings, we’ll see you soon in cinemas near you!"
Directed by Sharan Sharma, who made his directorial debut with 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl', featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi, 'Mr. And Mrs. Mahi' is produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta.
