Malik, who plays for Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) in the domestic tournaments, is likely to remain out for at least six weeks. According to reports quoting Rising Kashmir, the JKCA is yet to name a replacement for him with the tournament just round the corner.
“After recovering from dengue, Umran suffered from a toe injury and followed it with a hamstring injury. We hope that after he is fully recovered, he will return to the field with fresh energy and josh.” Speaking of the pacer, Umran Malik has played 12 First-Class and 14 List A matches so far.
