Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had another ‘so close yet so far’ season. RCB made it to the playoffs for a second consecutive season but got knocked out yet again. They lost to Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 to see their way out. Virat Kohli being out of touch was a major concern for the Bangalore-based franchise.
Nevertheless, the management has imposed faith in most of its players from last season and only a few have been released.

Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell will once again form the core. Meanwhile, the likes of Anuj Rawat, Mahipal Lomror, Shahbaz Ahmad, and Suyash Prabhudessai will be the young faces. The bowling will once again revolve around Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel, and Wanindu Hasaranga. Although RCB has a good squad, they will look to make good use of INR 8.75 Crore they are left with.
