It’s been a thrilling end to much-awaited India vs Pakistan game. The game that had all the attention ended with India clinching it by five wickets. Hardik Pandya was the man of the moment for India as the all-rounder hit the winning six off Mohammad Nawaz. With six runs required off the last three balls, Pandya nonchalantly pulled a flatter delivery from Nawaz over the deep midwicket boundary to bring the win for India.
Not just with the bat, Pandya had a great day with the ball in hand as well. He took three important wickets of Mohammad Rizwan, Khushdil Shah, and Iftikhar Ahmed. This performance from Pandya earned him a lot of praise from all around the corner. Everyone hailed the cricketer for his calm and composed innings.
Former India cricketer Amit Mishra reckoned Pandya was the difference between the two teams as he tweeted “A nail biting encounter.. but in the end the difference between both the team was Hardik Pandya.”

Notably, Pandya scored a blistering 33* off just 17 balls. He was well aided by Ravindra Jadeja who departed after scoring a well-paced 35 (29). Virat Kohli also chipped in with a handy 35. Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the star with the ball with his bowling figures of 4-0-26-4.
