Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti isn’t anxious about reports claiming Vinicius Junior moving to join Saudi Arabia’s league and leaving the club in the upcoming summer. As per sources, Saudi Pro League has been looking to get the 24-year-old Brazilian in their country for the last few months and is also ready to make him the costliest footballer in the world.
"Yes, I'm tired of this topic but I'm not worried. I see him happy and we are happy with him. There's nothing more to add with respect to what I said a week ago. It's not a topic that we discuss here, he [Vinícius] doesn't discuss it. All I can tell you is what I see here, he is happy, eager to do things well and make history with the club," said Ancelotti when inquired about the claims regarding the Brazilian.
However, following Real Madrid’s 3-2 victory against Manchester City in the Champions League game at the Etihad Stadium on February 12, Vincius said he is hoping to have an agreement with Madrid to serve the club beyond 2027.
Vincius wants to surpass Kylian Mbappe in terms of earning: Sources
As per sources, Vinicius’ assistants have informed Real Madrid about the young footballer’s financial demands if the illustrious club wants his services in the upcoming years. The reports further claimed the forward wants to leave his new teammate Kylian Mbappe behind in terms of earning.
Vinicius has made a crucial contribution to Madrid’s success in recent years. The star footballer helped Madrid claim two Champions League titles and three LaLiga trophies. He ended in the second spot in the vote for 2024 Ballon d’Or wayward, following Spain’s defensive midfielder Rodri, who is a part of Manchester City. He was also voted Player of the Match in Tuesday’s game against the City despite not scoring.
