India’s one of the most prominent esports organisations, Revenant Esports, scripted history by becoming the country's first team to qualify for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2023. In the renowned competition, they will not only fight for the country's glory, but also for a share of a huge USD 75,000 prize pool. The team participated in the Brawl Stars Championship Last-Chance Qualifier in Katowice, Poland, but put up a dominating performance. 

The Indians defeated Rising Sun Esports SEA and Datos F/A in consecutive games in their group. At the end, they locked horns with Reconic Esports SA to secure their berth in the grand final. After losing the first round, the Revenant Esports came from back to secure a 3-1 win. 

The team consisting of Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Raj Singh, Prashant “Trashant” Malik, Jerome “Response” Kuek Jiaen and Joshua “Prime” Lim will now represent India at the renowned international contest. Speaking about their final ticket, the team’s captain Sergeant Clash said that he is extremely happy with the fact that they have scripted history. 

Ashmit said, “It’s truly an exhilarating feeling to know that we have made history by qualifying for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2023 in Sweden. We might have been the underdogs but I was confident in my team that we would get the Golden Ticket. We’ve put in countless hours, practising day in and day out to improve our skills, and it feels amazing to see that dedication pay off. Now, we’ll get back to work and start getting ready for the World Finals.”

The final is slated to take place from November 24 to November 26 at the Elmia Exhibition and Convention Center in Jönköping, Sweden.
