Indian wicketkeeper-batter and Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant was finally cleared by the NCA Medical Team and declared fit by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday, March 12. However, the news of Pant regaining complete fitness went viral with his IPL franchise also sharing a post of his return to competitive cricket.

In a post on X, the Delhi Capitals shared the news of Pant’s return with the caption reading, “Ready to ROAR (Tiger emoji) Welcome back, Rishabh Pant. Can’t wait to see you”, with a red and blue heart emojis. In this post, one of the fans did not like the edited picture of Pant and dropped a comment, taking a dig at the creator of the post.

The user named @div_yumm took a dig at DC stating that he might just go back to drive his car seeing this. “Isse achha me banake de deta bhai, ye dekh kr wapis car chalane chal jayega wo,” the user wrote. Pant fit to resume wicketkeeping role in IPL, confirms BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday hared a positive update on Rishabh Pant while confirming the medical update on several other players, including Mohammed Shami. Taking to X, BCCI captioned a post, which read, “After undergoing an extensive 14-month rehab and recovery process, following a life-threatening road mishap on December 30th, 2022, @RishabhPant17 has now been declared fit as a wicket-keeper batter for the upcoming #TATA @IPL 2024.”

In the same, the Indian board confirmed that Shami and Prasidh Krishna will miss the upcoming edition, owing to their respective surgeries.
