In a massive update, star Team India cricketer Rishabh Pant survived a car accident in the early hours on Friday (December 30). According to reports, the wicketkeeper-batter was alone in the car at the time of the accident. The car, which was a Mercedes collided with the divider and caught fire.

It was reported that the Indian wicketkeeper batter was travelling to his hometown to see his mother for the New Year's eve. Some hours later, the CCTV footage revealed the moments when the car collided the divider and was on fire.

The 25-year-old was taken to the hospital and then later shifted to MAX Hospital, Roorkee . Doctors later revealed that the Indian batter has injured his head, back and leg but is in a stable condition. The Director General of Police (Uttarakhand) claimed that Pant lost control of the car as he dozed off while driving.
