India tennis star Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian mixed doubles partner Gabriela Dabrowski have crashed out of the Wimbledon Championship 2023. The duo suffered a loss in the second round of mixed doubles against their Croatian-Chinese Taipei rivals. The Indian-Canadian duo went down 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 4-6 against the former Wimbledon champions Ivan Dodig and Latisha Chan on July 9, Sunday.

Bopanna won his only Grand Slam title with Dabrowski at the 2017 French Open. Speaking of the men's doubles event, Bopanna, along with his Australian partner Matthew Ebden reached the second round. The sixth-ranked duo faced the Argentine duo of Guillermo Duran and Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the opening round.
The men’s doubles round lasted for two hours and 12 minutes, the Indian-Australian duo defeated their Argentine pair 6-2, 6-7(5-7), 7-6(10-8). The duo has already claimed two doubles ATP titles earlier this year. To advance into the third round of the category, they will lock horns with Jacob Fearnley and Johannus, slated on July 10, Monday.
On the other hand, the all-India pair of Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan-N. Sriram Balaji lost to French Open champions Ivan Dodig and his American partner Austin Krajicek in their first round. Meanwhile, the Yuki Bhambri-Saketh Myneni duo took on Alejandro Davidovich Fokina of Spain and Adrian Mannarino of France.
