Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma was seen striking a pose with legendary Spain goalkeeper and FIFA World Cup winner Iker Casillas at the NBA Abu Dhabi Game. Not only this, but the Indian skipper also posed with former Big Boss contestant and social media star Abdu Rozik during the game. Notably, Rohit Sharma recently led his side to a 2-0 win over Bangladesh in a two-match Test series home. The Men in Blue will now meet neighbours in a three-match T20I series across three venues.
Since Sharma has announced his retirement from the shortest format after a triumphing T20 World Cup 2024, he is enjoying some time off with his wife Ritika Sajdeh in Abu Dhabi. He was seen watching the NBA Abu Dhabi game between the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets. During the star-studded game, Sharma posed with legendary Spain goalkeeper and FIFA World Cup winner Iker Casillas. Notably, Casillas led his side to the 2010 FIFA World Cup crown. Not only this, but he was also the custodian for the side which claimed the 2008 Euro and later retained in 2012.

Speaking of the game, Sharma was also seen mingling with notable names, including football greats Thierry Henry and Ronaldhino. The game saw Boston taking down Denver 107-103.
During the game, Denver rested its starters in the second half while Boston benched its most key players. Payton Pritchard guided his side with 21 points and reigning MVP Nikola Jokic scored 14 points for Denver.
