The Rohit Sharma-led Team India will take on England in the final Test of the five-match series in Dharamsala. While the majority of the Indian team landed days ago, Rohit Sharma reached the Himachal Pradesh city on Tuesday morning (March 5). What caught the eyeballs was Rohit Sharma reaching Dharamsala in a helicopter.
In the video going viral, Sharma reached the venue for the fifth Test and caught paparazzi’s attention as they all gathered to have a glance of the Indian skipper. It is to be noted that Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid were invited to attend an event in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur.
The Indian skipper attended the opening ceremony of the third edition of Khel Mahakhumbh along with Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. With him joining the team in Dharamsala, he is likely to make his presence in the team’s training session.
Speaking of the India versus England Test series, the hosts have already claimed the series after they won three Tests on the trot. After losing the first Test by 28 runs in the Hyderabad, India won the second, third and fourth Test by 106 runs, 434 runs and five wickets respectively.
As the two teams now look to take on the field in the fifth Test from March 7, while India will aim to end with a 4-1 scoreline to consolidate the top spot in the WTC 2023-25 cycle, the Ben Stokes-led England will aim to bounce back and finish the series with the scoreline of 2-3.
