Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma, who is currently spending time with his family paid a visit to the Tirupati Balaji Temple on August 13, Sunday. The India skipper led India in the Test series and first ODI game against West Indies. After being rested for the T20I series, Sharma flew back home and has been spending family time ahead of the Asia Cup 2023.  

With less than three weeks to go for the mega-continental event, Sharma, along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira, visited the holy shrine. The pictures of the same went viral on social media in no time, with fans loving this side of the Mumbai Indians captain. 

Speaking of the Indian cricket team, the Men in Blue are currently in Florida for the last two games of the T20I series against West Indies. The team under the leadership of Hardik Pandya slumped to their Caribbean counterparts in the first two T20Is. However, the third and fourth match saw the Asian giants making a resounding comeback and leading the series to a decider. 

The upcoming Asia Cup 2023 is set to commence on August 30, where the hosts Pakistan will lock horns with Nepal in the season opener. Later, on August 31, the co-hosts Sri Lanka will square off against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the Indian team will begin their campaign on September 2 by clashing against arch-rivals Pakistan.
