Ronaldinho, the former Brazilian footballer, blasted the face of TikTok star Khaby Lame from a long pass, during the charity football match being played at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando on June 24, Saturday. It featured many former and current footballers, including Vinicius Jr, Paulo Dybala, Rivaldo, Nani, Roberto Carlos, and Ronaldinho, alongside celebrities from all over the world like Khaby Lame.

In this exhibition contest, billed as “The Beautiful Game,” Team R10 was captained by Ronaldinho, while the Team RC3 was captained by his former Brazilian teammate Roberto Carlos. Over the course of the evening, it was marred by multiple fan invasions on the pitch, combined with torrential rains at the hour mark.

The incident involving the Senegalese-born Italian social media artist happened in the 47th minute of the match. It was captain Rolandinho, who delivered a diagonal cross, aimed at Khaby Lame. The TikTok star with 160 million followers on the platform, seemingly, didn’t judge the length of the ball correctly, which ended up hitting him in the face and left him tumbling down on the pitch leaving the commentators and players in splits.

Khaby Lame, who silently reacts to overly complicated life hack videos on social media, took to Twitter to give an update about this particular moment with Ronaldinho. He wrote, “I took a cross from Ronaldinho, but caught it with my face.”

Meanwhile, the charity football match did have a winner as the Team R10 of Ronaldinho were able to defeat the Team RC3 by 4-3 margin. It also featured a goal from Vinicius Jr in the first-half, thanks to the brilliant assist from the 2005 Ballon d’Or winner.

Nani, who has been the Orlando City captain, talked about how it felt for him to return home after all these years. He said, “It’s always good to go back home. I was feeling great. A little bit emotional to be here at this club, because it’s a club where I had so many beautiful moments. I heard my name in the stands, so that was a really exciting moment for me. I enjoyed a lot. It’s always special to be back home.”
