Russell Westbrook took to his official Instagram account to send an emotional message to the Los Angeles Clippers fans, staff members, and the entire organisation after he is expected to leave them this summer. As per the latest development, the Los Angeles Clippers are going to send Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz after a two-season association with them.

According to a report from Marca, Russell Westbrook will be arriving to the Utah Jazz from the Los Angeles Clippers in a swap of second-round picks and cash, in addition to Kris Dunn coming on board. After a season there, the Jazz organisation are going to release Westbrook, which will allow the Denver Nuggets to acquire him after clearing waivers.

Notably, Russell Westbrook had a difficult last season with the Clippers, averaging just 11.1 points in 68 games, which is the lowest in his entire career. In the 16 seasons of the NBA, he averages 21.7 points, 8.1 assists, and 7.1 rebounds after playing 33.6 minutes per match.

In his emotional message for the Los Angeles Clippers, Russell Westbrook thanked everyone involved in the daily activities during his two-year association. He wrote, “Thank you to Mr. Ballmer and the entire Clipper Organization for the opportunity. Clipper Nation, thank you! I had a lot of fun with you all, playing in the city I love in front of my family and friends. To all of my teammates, I thank y'all for embracing me and supporting me the past two years.”
