The IPL action might be over for the year but the conversation surrounding the tournament never ends. A similar stance can be seen when CSK youngster Shivam Dube named his All-Time CSK XI. The Yellow Army took to social media to share Shivam Dube’s All-Time CSK XI which included the likes of MS Dhoni, Albie Morkel, Dwayne Bravo to name a few.

What was notable in his XI was that he picked himself over Deepak Chahar in the XI and the conversation between the two then built on thereafter. While he named Matthew Hayden, Michael Hussey to open the inning, he then named Suresh Raina, recently retired Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja to complete the middle-order. His other four included Albie Morkel, Dwayne Bravo, Harbhajan Singh, L Balaji and himself to complete the XI.

To settle the conversation on the XI, Indian star bowler Deepak Chahar got into the picture as he commented “@dubeshivam next year this bowler will play where will we go?” The banter between the two kickstarted from here as Dube was quick to respond,  “Team me bahot all-rounder hogaye kya kare”.

The two did not seem to end here as C hahar later replied, challenging the 30-year-old, “@dubeshivam sabse pehle next year tere or mera match hoga 1 over ka I will bowl 1 over to you you bowl 1 over to me let’s see who wins and take the spot?” Already looking in dismay over the challenge, Dube replied, “@deepak_chahar tere liye maine abhise spot chod diya hai, kya to tabki baat kar raha hai.”

deepak chahar shivam dube insta banter Keeping stern on his challenge Chahar replied that he is looking for the match and not for the spot. “@dubeshivam nahi muze match chahea spot nahi” with tears in eye laughing emoji.

It is to be noted that Deepak Chahar has been out of action post his win with Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023. On the other hand, Shivam Dube has found a place in India’s 15-member squad for three-match T20I series against Ireland, starting August 18.
