The former India fast bowler Ajit Agarkar has been appointed as the new men’s chairman of selectors. On July 4, Friday, before the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced their decision, the 45-year-old met Sachin Tendulkar, who shared a picture of the moment on his Instagram account.
The winner of the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007, Ajit Agarkar represented India in 221 international matches across all three formats of the game. The majority of success as an individual player came for him in the ODIs, where he picked up 288 wickets in 191 matches.
