
Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan continued his great form in IPL 2025 and played another great knock in match number 14 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday, April 2. After hitting back-to-back fifties against Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians respectively, Sudharsan fell short of his third consecutive fifty by just one run as he got out after scoring 49 runs off 36 balls hitting seven fours and a six.
With the help of Sudharsan’s knock and Jos Buttler unbeaten 73*(39) runs, GT defeated RCB by eight wickets. Despite not getting a fifty, Sai Sudharsan has caught the attention of the fans for his consistent performance in IPL 2025. Talking about his IPL career, Sai Sudharsan made his debut in the cash-rich league with Gujarat Titans, when the franchise was first introduced in 2022. GT roped in Sudharsan for INR 20 Lakhs in the IPL 2022 mega auction. He just got five matches in that season where amassed 145 runs along with one fifty with a strike rate of 127.19.

However, Sai Sudharsan continued for GT in IPL 2023 where he scored 362 runs in eight matches at an average of 51.71 and a strike rate of 141.41 hitting three fifties. He had his best season in IPL 2024 where he scored 527 runs in 12 matches, at an average of 47.91 and a strike rate of 141.29. He also scored two fifties in that season and went on smash his maiden IPL hundred.
