Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has sparked transfer rumours to the Saudi Pro League as he has returned from a short trip to Saudi Arabia. Ahead of Juventus’ preseason training, Pogba was seen in Saudi Arabia where he reportedly visited Al-Ittihad's training ground as he explores his options this summer.

The Frenchman has had a disappointing return to Turin which was marred with countless injuries, allowing him to participate in just six league matches for the Old Lady. On the back of the poor 2022-23 season, reports have alluded to Juventus considering cancelling Pogba’s contract to free up space on their wage bill.

With this speculation brewing, interest in the 2018 World Cup winner has also grown in Saudi Arabia. Italian journalist, Romeo Agrest repored that Al-Ittihad, who recently signed other French stars like Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, have expressed a desire to rope in Pogba as well.  Agrest shared, “Pogba landed in Saudi Arabia on Friday evening. On his account, there is the interest of Al-Ittihad. Local sources report that the French midfielder visited the premises of the club coached by Nuno Espirito Santo. It remains to understand the will of the person concerned.”

Further fueling these rumours, Paul Pogba was seen interacting with a fan in Saudi Arabia, who asked the Frenchman about coming over to play in the Saudi Pro League. Pogba reacted by saying, "I don't know, today no, but tomorrow I don't know". Then the fans asked, him to pick between Al-Ittihad or Al-Ahly, and the former Manchester United star said, "I don't know, we'll see".

Al-Ittihad have also recently signed young Portuguese winger Jota from Celtic. The 24-year-old moved to Saudi Arabia for a reported fee of £25m move and was one of the big acquisitions for   Al-Ittihad with  Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.
