Manchester City have been one of the, if not the best teams this season, and are on their way to win a treble. The Man City boss, Pep Guardiola was asked what will be his next goal if he completes the treble this season and the Spaniard came up with a hilarious response that he wants to win the away fixture against Tottenham.

Despite Tottenham's woes of late, along with City's dominance, the Spurs boast a fine record against the top-placed Premier League side, winning five of their last seven league meetings. The last time Spurs conceded against City at home in the league was way back in 2018, in Guardiola's second season in charge. This season City lost 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium courtesy of a goal from Harry Kane.

Guardiola was asked during an interview with Sky Sports, "If you were to complete the treble this season, what would be the next challenge for you?" The Man City manager took a second to pause and think before replying with a smile, "To score a goal against the Spurs away.  It's why I stay, I want to beat Spurs away. "

Tottenham have bizarrely proven to be a real bogey team for Guardiola over the years, particularly in North London and Guardiola will be looking to change that in the upcoming season. Despite their struggles against Tottenham, the Spanish boss will be going for a treble at City after his side wrapped up the Premier League title over the weekend, with FA Cup and Champions League finals to play.
