The runners-up of the previous edition, Sunrisers Hyderabad are on fire in the ongoing second match of IPL 2025 against Rajasthan Royals at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. With fiery fifties by Travis Head and Ishan Kishan, SRH are heading towards another 250-plus total. Apart from that, RR also had a bad day on the field, not just with the ball, but also due to poor fielding effort by their players.
Coming to bat first after losing the toss, SRH got a flying start as Abhishek Sharma got out after scoring a quickfire 24(11). After that, Travis Head and Ishan Kishan took charge of the innings as the duo put up a fiery partnership of 85 runs. Head got out after smashing 67 runs off 31 balls, hitting nine fours and three sixes. Nitish Kumar Reddy also scored a quickfire 30(15) runs as SRH crossed the 200-mark before 15 overs.
RR’s poor fielding disappoint fans
Ishan Kishan also smashed a quickfire half-century and is also nearing his first IPL hundred. He is currently batting with Heinrich Klaasen taking the innings forward. It has been a bad day for RR while fielding as they missed some easy catches and also couldn’t restrict the boundaries due to poor effort. This has left the fans disappointed as they came up with different reactions and memes to RR’s poor fielding against SRH.
