On Sunday, July 14, India is taking on Zimbabwe in the fifth and final T20I of their tour at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. However, the Shubman Gill-led Team India has already claimed the series after their win in the fourth T20I by 10 wickets. Meanwhile the Men in Blue will aim to close the series with a win on Sunday, Zimbabwe on the other hand, will eye to finish with a win at home to close the series with a 2-3 scoreline.
But as the two captains in Shubman Gill and Sikandar Raza took the field for the toss, the Indian captain was involved in a hilarious moment. The 24-year-old while naming the changes in the side which saw Mukesh Kumar and Riyan Parag coming in, forgot the name of the players (Ruturaj Gaikwad and Khaleel Ahmed) who misses out.
“We are looking to bat first anyway. Our spinners have bowled well and the fast bowlers have been economical. The players have been hungry. It’s not easy to play back-to-back matches. Couple of changes. Mukesh Kumar and Parag come in,” Gill said at the toss while forgetting the name of his teammates. However, soon after this he walked away with a smile.
